From an early age, my parents have taught me that with hard work you can do anything no matter where you came from. I witnessed this firsthand; my parents escaped communist Romania in hopes of a better life, worked hard in their careers and have shown me an excellent example of dedication.

I am the founder of AFB Social Club NYC, which is a selective members only club for women in college across all NYC schools. We have a member base of 150 carefully-selected students from schools like Pace University, NYU, Columbia University, FIT, Parsons, and more. The goal was to create a space for women to attend curated events and foster friendships in a city so large. One of our highlights so far has been partnering with Ralph’s Coffee at Ralph Lauren to provide our members with a complimentary tasting experience. I also utilize my connections with Global Fashion Collective to provide members with access to one of the world’s most exclusive events - New York Fashion Week.

While studying at Pace University's Pforzheimer Honors College, I have had the opportunity to work as the Chief Director of Marketing after serving as a Content Creator for one year in the Honors Advisory Board. At 20 years old, I lead both Internal and External marketing teams to improve visibility for my university while adhering to professional Pace University branding guidelines. In my role, I delegate tasks to our team, and have gained experience in leadership.

In addition to starting my business and my marketing work, I am a full-time student studying Political Science, with minors in Pre-Law, Marketing, and Fine & Studio Art and have earned a 4.0 GPA. Upon earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, I plan to attend law school with concentrations in Intellectual Property, Media/Entertainment Law, and Copyright Law. My current related coursework includes Business Law, Music Industry Law (Taylor's Version), and Sports and Entertainment Law.

My interest in music and media fostered my passion to pursue Entertainment Law upon graduation. I have taken various music lessons since the age of 6 years old, including classical/technical guitar, voice lessons, violin lessons, etc., and have been a member of multiple performing groups like the NHS Orchestra and Chamber Singers where I dedicated my time and effort to my passion. My experience led me to perform at Lincoln Center's David Geffen Hall as a Soprano 1 in Grammy Award-winning composer Eric Whitacre's choir. Additionally, I was able to audition for America's Got Talent in 2016 and proceeded to the second round of untelevised callbacks. My experiences in the field of entertainment further solidified my passion for justice and fairness within artist contracts, intellectual property violations, and more.

Additionally, I have experience in the field of Fine, Digital, and Studio Art. Upon taking classes in Digital Drawing, Painting, Hand Drawing, Procreate, and Graphic Design, I discovered a new creative endeavor in addition to music. In the Spring 2024 semester, I was able to gain apprenticeship experience in creating and curating paintings for the gallery at Pace University. My work, Coffee For One, was exhibited in the Pace Gallery after completion of my work.
